Terms of Service

These terms are published in English and Spanish. In case of any discrepancy, the English version governs.
Accepting these terms
These terms govern your use of GalileiPay, a product of Galilei Technologies LLC. By creating an account — on the web, or over WhatsApp when you accept with Gallie (tapping I accept or replying YES) — or by answering an invitation through our pages, you accept them.
Who can use GalileiPay
GalileiPay is for businesses in construction and, in Texas, for homeowners who want quotes for work on their own home. You must be at least 18 and, if you represent a company, authorized to act for it.
What GalileiPay does
General contractors describe a job, choose which subcontractors to ask for a price, and receive and compare their answers. Subcontractors answer from the link in the invitation, without an account. We are not a party to any agreement between a general contractor and a subcontractor. We do not guarantee that any subcontractor will answer, that a quote is accurate or that work will be performed; deciding who to hire, and on what terms, is up to you.
Plans and payment
There is a free plan and paid plans, each with the limits shown on our pricing page and in the application. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until you cancel; cancelling stops the next renewal. A plan may have a lower price for its first month; it is offered once per company, and the price you will pay is shown before you pay. When a plan is granted at no cost for a limited time, it ends on the date shown and your account returns to the free plan unless you subscribe. We may change prices or limits; if a change affects a paid plan you have, we will tell you by email (or over WhatsApp, if your account has no email) before it applies.
Your account
Keep your credentials to yourself and tell us at support@galileipay.com if you think someone else has access. If you opened your account over WhatsApp, your phone number is how you sign in: whoever writes from that number can ask Gallie for links to sign in to your account. Keep that number under your control and, if you change or lose it, tell us at support@galileipay.com. You are responsible for what happens under your account. The information you give us must be accurate, and you must keep it up to date.
Gallie and WhatsApp
Gallie is an artificial intelligence assistant. She can misunderstand your messages: check your account and company details on the web, and correct them if needed. Gallie may also act in your account when you ask her to, such as preparing a job, finding subcontractors for it or changing your settings. Asking subcontractors for quotes comes with the paid plans, from WhatsApp and on the web; answering an invitation, joining a job open to subcontractors and sending a price work on every plan. Anything that reaches other companies, such as sending invitations, opening a job to other contractors or sending a price, happens only after you confirm it, and you are responsible for what you confirm. Gallie answers a limited number of your messages: on the free plan, a limited number a day; on paid plans, a limited number an hour and a limited amount a day. Writing HUMAN always reaches a person, even past the limit. WhatsApp is provided by Meta under its own terms, and your carrier may charge you for messages and data.
Your content
You keep ownership of the documents and information you upload. You give us permission to store, process and display them as needed to provide the service — including having them read automatically, as our Privacy Policy describes — and to share them with the other party of a quote request. Automated reading can be wrong. Check every line item, quantity and price before sending. You confirm that you have the right to upload each document and to share it with the subcontractors you invite.
Acceptable use
Do not upload documents you are not entitled to share, misrepresent a job or a quote, use invitations to send anything other than genuine quote requests, attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with the service. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being misused.
Third-party services
Payments, email, WhatsApp messages, and the artificial intelligence that reads your documents and understands your answers to Gallie are provided by third parties described in our Privacy Policy. Their own terms apply to the part they perform.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the platform available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features. If we change these terms materially, we will update the date above and tell you by email or, if your account has no email, over WhatsApp.
Disclaimers and limits
The platform is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and our liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
If you use GalileiPay as a homeowner
This section applies to you if you use GalileiPay as a homeowner, and it prevails over the rest of these terms on anything it addresses. GalileiPay is not a contractor. We do not do the work, supervise it or guarantee the work, price, schedule, license or insurance of any subcontractor. We help you find subcontractors and send them your quote requests; the agreement to do the work is between you and the subcontractor you choose, and we are not responsible for the work, price, schedule or conduct of any subcontractor. Check who you hire. Texas requires a state license for electrical, plumbing and air-conditioning work. Before you hire anyone, check their license and insurance yourself, ask for references, and get a written contract before any work starts. Directory information comes from public sources and from what the businesses publish, and it may be out of date. Searching for subcontractors for your job costs you nothing on the free plan. Inviting them to quote, on the web or from WhatsApp (see "Gallie and WhatsApp"), comes with the paid plans, and so does opening your job to subcontractors with an account. We charge no commission on the work and do not handle any payment. Your messages. What you write in a request and what subcontractors answer is stored so you can compare it. We do not give subcontractors your name in the invitation: we tell them only that a homeowner is asking for a quote, and the city. If you open your job to subcontractors with an account, those of the trade near it see it the same way, without your name. A subcontractor sees the exact address of your home only when you confirm a site visit. Governing law. Texas law governs these terms as they apply to you, and any dispute may be brought in the Texas county where you live. The limit on our liability in "Disclaimers and limits" and the choice of Delaware law in "Governing law" do not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Texas consumer protection law, including the Deceptive Trade Practices Act, that cannot legally be waived.
